Bedshaped - Keane

I apologize for neglecting this blog. I wasn't expecting the first day of school to be this tough. My days are filled with endless hours of reading, pages of math homework, you get the idea. Now I know that people weren't kidding around when they said junior year will be extremely stressful. Through this, I'm going to attempt to have a life by playing water polo, going on adventures, and finishing Atonement.

While going to Home Depot with my mom the other day, a sales associate told us that he got laid off his job now has to help around here to pay his house payments. His job? A successful computer engineer. It got me thinking. I'm extremely blessed and grateful that my mom still has a job, that we have a roof over our heads, and a family that's so caring (at times). Do you count your blessings?

Delicate

A U, get out of here!

I find it silly how I thrilled I feel to have my internet back.

The days are winding down, my homework's still incomplete, and there's so many plans to fufill. This year, I need to concentrate! concentrate! concentrate! I'm not going to be some AP class hoarding freak (which my family thinks I am) but I need to get my GPA up. Water polo practice is going to be at the Independence pool for the next few weeks, so I'm going to be able to get my tan back! It just freaking sucks that it's not at Piedmont and it's 3 hours long.

Academic sh*t aside, I'm kind of excited to move into my new house (stupid real estate agent is lagging....). I've already picked out my room color and room decorations! I'm just not excited about the 25 minute commute to Piedmont.
